Introducing Ancient Songs: a unique musical project where tradition meets innovation.

The Yotam Ishay Quartet brings together musicians from around the globe to create a sound that resonates deeply with Jewish communities.

 

Led by Israeli composer and pianist Yotam Ishay, the quartet specializes in original compositions and creative arrangements of Israeli and Jewish songs, crafted to celebrate and explore the richness of Jewish heritage. With roots in the prestigious Berklee College of Music, where all members met, the group is grounded in both virtuosic mastery and heartfelt expression.​​​

The Quartet

At the heart of Ancient Songs is Yotam Ishay, an Israeli composer and pianist whose vision shapes the ensemble’s unique sound. Yotam honors his Israeli roots while embracing the rich, diverse influences of his international bandmates.
